Level 11 — Cell Blocks
Video Walkthrough
Objective
Negotiate the cell-block corridor by earning an inmate’s trust: map wall glyphs in Cell 4 against his scrap of paper, pop the pipe-room locker with 2974, retune leaking lines with wrench, nut, and valve handle, rebuild the broken basin with faucet hardware and plastic tubing, fabricate wet soap via rag, shard, and pillow sleight of hand, then punch his returned symbol string into the end-door electronics to reach the next episode Workshop.
Step-by-Step Solution
Prisoner briefing. Step into the block hallway and speak with the fellow inmate. He agrees to trade intel only after you deliver wet soap—treat that as the episode’s spine and loot everything else with that payout in mind.
Cell 4 recon. Enter Cell 4 and scan the plaster for painted or carved symbols; pocket early utilities such as a valve handle and any loose fittings you can carry—these feed later plumbing puzzles.
Locker 2974. Compare the Cell 4 wall glyphs with the scrap paper the prisoner hands you. When the symbol pairs line up, translate them into the four-digit combination 2974 on the pipe-room storage locker and claim what’s inside.
Pipe-room flow. Inside the utility space, deploy the wrench, hex nut, and valve handle on the highlighted joints. Tighten, reroute, or align each segment until the gauge or animation shows water pressure behaving the way the UI demands.
Sink rebuild. Return to Cell 4 and install the faucet kit together with the plastic pipe segment so the basin holds water again; you need a working tap before you can soak the soap.
Shard from grime. Visit the junk or supply closet, dig through stacked cartons for a rag, and return to the pipe gallery. Wipe the misted glass or metal housing until a glass fragment glints through—pick it up carefully.
Soap extraction. Slice open the cell pillow with the shard and pull out the bar of soap hidden in the stuffing; without the fabric tear the trade chain stops cold.
Wet bar exchange. Run the bar through the repaired sink until it reads damp, hand it to the prisoner, and collect the fresh instruction slip covered in ordered symbols or icons—this is your keypad recipe.
Exit panel. Walk to the far corridor door with the electronic faceplate. Tap the glyphs in the exact left-to-right order shown on the new note; a clean sequence trips the maglock and rolls the cutscene into Workshop, the following level.
💡 Tips & Tricks
Photograph Cell 4 murals before you backtrack—mixing two similar runes is the usual reason 2974 fails.
Finish the pipe minigame before spending time on the sink; some builds lock the faucet interaction until pressure states go green.
The rag only appears after you disturb the correct cardboard pile—click every flapped box in the junk room if the hotspot is stubborn.
On the symbol lock, long-press clears often differ from short taps; if the UI flashes red, reset and re-enter the whole string rather than guessing the bad icon.
⚠️ Common Mistakes
Transposing digits when typing 2974, especially swapping the middle pair after revisiting the locker from a save.
Trying to wet the soap before the faucet assembly is complete, which wastes inventory clicks.
Forgetting the pillow after securing glass—some players stash the shard but skip the fabric tear and wonder why no soap appears.
Mirroring the note’s symbol order when the door expects the sequence exactly as drawn, leaving the exit relay red.
