Step-by-Step Solution
Basket and grid. In the hallway, pick up the blue basket and slot it onto the storage room shelving. The rack’s layout doubles as a coordinate pad—note every highlighted cell or ordered pair the UI reveals; that string feeds the corridor puzzle.
Tile mural lock. Return to the passage wall dressed with mismatched tiles. Treat the basket grid as the fill pattern: replicate it on the ceramic mini-game until the mechanism confirms; the office door ahead releases once the mosaic matches.
Office sweep. Inside the office, empty drawers and metal lockers methodically. Your early haul should include Spring and Winter manuscripts—stash them even if the shelf is not ready yet.
Summer volume. Backtrack to the storage room and hunt the missing Summer book. Combine it with the two office finds and the volumes already on the bookcase. Arrange everything in seasonal order exactly as the shelf art or labels imply—typically cycling spring through winter—so the spines line up for the next clue.
Code 4213. With the books seated correctly, read the numerals printed along the spines; they compress into the four-digit sequence 4213. Enter that on the nearby combination lock to earn a storage locker key.
Cutter branch. Use the new key on the matching cabinet. Retrieve the cutting tool, return to the corridor cardboard stack, slice it open, and pocket the second key tucked inside.
Screwdriver and grate. Spend the cardboard key in the office hunt until you reveal a screwdriver. Carry it into the storage room and work the fasteners on the upper vent grille until the duct opens.
Hidden crawlspace. Slip through the vent into the secret chamber. The centerpiece is a sliding Alcatraz island picture puzzle—slide blocks until the fortress photograph is coherent.
Crowbar payoff. Recover the stray puzzle tile the game hides elsewhere in the room, snap it into the slider, and finish the image. The reward chest issues a crowbar sized for shifting heavy office furniture or jammed fixtures.
