Level 7 — Underground Lab

Video Walkthrough

Objective

Enter the buried lab by punching the Fibonacci-style sequence on the outer keypad, then sweep each tier for tools and reagents. Route power through the monitor puzzle, crack the electrical grid for lift access, align the transparency on the backlight to read **2854**, brew ND-026 from RM-8 with Z-4 and Z-5 per the logbook, and punch that code at the sealed exit once power and inventory checks are complete.

Step-by-Step Solution

  1. Entry cipher. The outer door expects the early Fibonacci progression—think 0, 1, 1, 2, 3 and continue the series the puzzle length demands—before the airlock style door rolls aside into the main corridor.
  2. First sweep. Inside, locate pliers or cutters and the labeled **Z-4** bottle (or ampoule) before you split paths to wiring minigames; missing either blocks the monitor chain later.
  3. Wire and monitor. Strip or splice the red lead with your pliers, seat it in the rack feeding the CRT or status screen, then copy each silhouette it flashes—triangle, square, and siblings—onto the rotary locks until the machine pays out an adjustable wrench.
  4. Breaker and lift matrix. Open the service panel with the wrench and clear the numeric-grid minigame that grants elevator privileges across **UG**, **G**, and **LG** (upper ground, ground, lower ground labels in your build). Visit each stop the story expects so nothing despawns.
  5. Slide and code. Recover the clear acetate or film, lay it over the backlit chart until the merged glyphs read the **2854** quad—snapshot it before you wander back to chemistry.
  6. Locker and formulas. Pry the storage unit with a crowbar when the UI allows, scoop **Z-5**, and read the bench log that spells how **RM-8**, **Z-4**, and **Z-5** react under heat to yield **ND-026**.
  7. Synthesis. Combine the three specified reagents in the flask, warm them per the notebook timing, and stow **ND-026** with any fresh battery you still need for the door module.
  8. Final lockout. Return to the exit keypad, enter **2854** exactly as projected, and leave once the blast door cycles—chapter complete.

💡 Tips & Tricks

  • Fibonacci gates often want the next term after the hint row—if 3 is last on-screen, the follow-up is 5 unless the puzzle caps early.
  • When monitors flash mixed polygons, sketch each frame; overlapping rotations on dials usually punish guesses.
  • Multi-floor lifts in prison-escape titles love one-time pickups—sweep LG before you assume UG is empty.
  • Chemistry notebook order matters: add reactants in the listed sequence before you apply heat or the flask may reset.

⚠️ Common Mistakes

  • Memorizing **2854** from chat instead of reproducing the slide alignment, then typing a mistyped digit under load.
  • Skipping **RM-8** or heating before every ingredient is poured, which stalls ND-026.
  • Clearing only two elevator floors and missing the transparency locked behind the third tier.
